Preventing Burglaries
While we are fortunate enough to live in an area of low crime, it is important to keep in mind that there are always ways to help protect our families and belongings. The Savannah-Chatham County Metropolitan Police Department recently held a community wide meeting to explain the benefits of Neighborhood Watch Programs and cover a few topics on how to improve our home security. 2012 APCCNA Annual Oyster Roast
Tickets are now available for the 2012 APCCNA Oyster Roast! Member tickets are available for $22 each. We are pleased to invited non-members for a price of $30.
This year’s Oyster Roast will be held in Tiedemann Park on Saturday, February 25th. Ticket price includes all-you-can-eat oysters and sides plus beer, wine and live music.

Neighborhood Watch Meeting
A Neighborhood Watch Meeting sponsored by the Central Precinct and the APCCNA will be held on Thursday October 27th at 6:45pm in the John Knox Room at First Presbyterian Church.
2011 APCCNA Fall Festival
The annual APCCNA Public meeting and Fall Festival will be held this Sunday, October 16. The Meeting begins at 4:00. Everyone is welcome to hear updates on what the APCCNA has accomplished over the past year.
The Fall Festival will begin at 5:00 and will feature snacks, games and lots of fun. Please bring a side, the APCCNA will provide chicken fingers and non-alcoholic drinks.
Both the meeting and Festival will be held in Tiedemann Park.
2011 National Night Out
A great time was had by all at this year’s edition of National Night out. A number of people turned out for an evening of hot dogs, bouncy houses, music and lively talk. The Savannah Fire Department and Police Departments were represented and many of out local politicians showed to listen to neighborhood concerns.

Please join the Ardsley Park Chatham Crescent Neighborhood Association on August 2nd for the 2011 National Night Out. This will be a night to meet local law enforcement, local firefighters and your neighbors and fellow APCCNA members. This years National Night out Celebration will be held in Kavanaugh Park August 2nd from 5-8:00 pm.

Bike Registration
Please download instructions from Savannah Police Department on how to register any bikes you or your family may have. By registering your bike with the police you will make it easier for them to return it to if they are able to recover it. Current police policy does not allow them to return a bike that is recovered unless ownership can be proven.
